Product Marketing Manager
Bridge R&D and market in a hands-on product marketing role with real ownership in a growing life science company.
We are at an exciting point of our journey, where we are reorganizing, sharpening our commercial focus, and are building the team that will take us into the next chapter.
Our technology is used in spatial protein analysis and our customers span academic research institutions and pharma/biotech companies, with applications in oncology, neuroscience, and infectious disease.
We are now expanding the commercial team with a Product Marketing Manager to support our next phase of commercial growth.
The Role
As Product Marketing Manager, you will own how Navinci's products are positioned, communicated and brought to market. You will be responsible for product positioning, messaging, product launches and competitive intelligence - sitting at the intersection of science, marketing and commercial strategy.
You will own the commercial product roadmap and lifecycle management, develop business cases, and drive portfolio prioritization. You will plan and execute product launches end-to-end, manage our digital presence, and support lead generation in collaboration with the commercial team. Working closely with both the commercial team and R&D, you will ensure that market and customer perspectives feed into product development and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Own product positioning, value proposition, roadmap and lifecycle management.
Contribute to pricing strategy and continuously refine it based on market and customer input.
Plan and execute product launches, including strategy, messaging and sales enablement.
Manage digital presence, marketing content and demand generation activities.
Own competitive intelligence and translate market insights into commercial actions in collaboration with colleagues.
Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, R&D and Operations.
Who are you?
You do not need to have done everything before. What matters is that you are curious, driven, and comfortable operating across both the scientific and commercial sides of a business. You probably have a few years of experience from product management or marketing within life sciences or research tools, enough to hit the ground running but we care more about how you think and how you work than about ticking every box. You bring structure and follow-through, you are easy to work with, and you have a genuine interest in science and what it can do in the world.
Qualifications:
Degree in life sciences, biotechnology, marketing or a related field
A few years of experience in product management, marketing or a related role within life sciences or research tools
Experience with product positioning, pricing, launches and marketing campaigns
Experience building business cases and supporting product strategy is an advantage
Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
The Culture
We are a small, agile organization where everyone's contribution is visible and the distance between ideas and execution is short. This is a place where you need to take initiative, pick things up, and run with them. We do not have all the answers yet, and that is part of what makes it interesting. The people here are genuinely curious about the science and invested in each other’s success.
The Uppsala office is the organizational hub, and while some remote flexibility exists, on-site presence is expected.
